I woke up at like 8am this morning (who wakes up at 8am during their summer vacations?)
in hopes of being able to get tickets for the NBA finals for my dad for Father's Day.
Alas...no such luck. So disappointing. I was on the phone AND online for over an entire
freakin' hour trying to get through!!! I would've held out longer if Ticketmaster didn't
show that all the tickets were sold out ("Tickets are no longer available."). Too bad I'm
not rich and/or famous. Not like, movie-star, I-have-a-million-stalkers kind of famous.
Just like Donald-Trump-except-with-people's-respect kind of famous. Hehe. Actually, I
think having strategically good connections would be good too...like, too bad I didn't babysit
Jason Kidd's son or something. Hehehe.

So after much contemplation & planning about painting my room, I think I've been convinced
that the trouble isn't worth it. I mean, I live in my room a maximum of four months out of
the year...and this year, it's gonna be more like two months. Also, my parents are
talking about moving to a smaller house after my bro goes off to college -- which is just about
the end of next year since he graduates in June of 2003. So...instead of painting my room mint
green, I think I'll have to settle for making mint green curtains and a quilt! At least I'll be
able to take the quilt with me wherever I go!

Pictures added in the Family & About Me sections. Though, I'm not sure if I should change
the format of the family pictures a bit. Working on getting more content for other sections. Constructive input is welcomed.

which Episode II character are you?

Went to see Star Wars: Attack of the Clones with Gloria & Jen Lu. We went at like 2pm,
thinking that people would still be at work and school, but the theater was still pretty full!
The special effects were awesome, but I gotta say that the shooting got kinda tiresome after a
while... it just wasn't exciting anymore. The only reason I really enjoyed the movie was because
Yoda had a cool fight scene, Natalie Portman had gorgeous costumes, and Hayden Christensen is HOT!
(Even his name is hot!
)

The movie experience was also quite enjoyable because every time Anakin would give a dark, sexy "look", I'd hear Jen Lu emit her
trademark giggle. Heehee. I understand Jen.

Went to see Spider-man with my family yesterday as a Mother's Day "family"
thing. The lines were kinda cheesy, but the movie was most enjoyable! My mom loved it!
She really liked Tobey Maguire (left), even though she did admit that James Franco (the guy who
plays Harry Osborn, right) is better looking. I definitely think so too.
Take a peek for yourself!

ANYways...the site is a currently a work in progress. Working on updating EVERYTHING! Any suggestions?

My 20th birthday! Time for new beginnings! It's been a good day. Got my haircut in the
morning, picked up the cake, went to see "Life Or Something Like It" with my mom (her pick...hehe),
went to dinner with my family at Lahiere's (restaurant in Princeton). My parents
got this cake with this DIVINE red bean frosting. I usually never eat much of the
frosting on cake, but this one was light & just the right sweetness!
Not particularly eventful, but definitely a pleasant way to spend a day.

Last day of classes!!! YAY!!!
It's been a fun day!!
SpringFest (up on North Campus) was fun. Feels good not to have work due anymore.
*sigh* Now I just have finals to go. I can't wait until EVERYTHING is over. In
about a week, everything will be done and I'll be on my way to Chapter Camp (for IV-CCF).
Then? Back to Jersey and then CHINA!!! Can't wait to go to China for the first time.

Okay. So this journal thing isn't working so well. It's been
a while since I've even attempted to touch this website.
Life has been hectic. Things are
definitely not turning out the way I would like them to be.
When this school year started, I thought it would be awesome.
I was motivated and focused, but that didn't last... *sigh*

Back at school! Having fun doing crazy stuff...like rollerblading
from 2am to 5am even though I suck at it, being distracted,
dancing around, and, the craziest thing of all, doing work.
Hehe. I haven't had much of a
chance to work on my website. Actually...I still don't, I should
be doing work. I'll check back in later & work on adding
some pictures!

So...turns out that the little cousins that were living with
my family (from Taiwan) are going to settle in California, even
though for some odd reason they say that they like life in Jersey
better. Whatever. Hehe. Things are finally going to be like
they were before. Kind of... well, I finally got around
to reading Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis. Good book.
Not so much because it was exciting or inviting...more so just
because of its straightforward content. Very thoughtful. Quite
an easy read. Great book for people who are in the process of pondering
about their existence and searching for themselves. I think it
is anyway. Really made me wonder how people can go through life without
knowing or even just questioning their purpose.
Life is peculiar.

Wow. Only about a month and a half of summer left and people
will be heading back to school. Scariness. I remember when I
was leaving for the summer and all my friends and I were like,
"Omigosh! I'll miss you! 4 months!!!" And now? Almost
all over! Dang. This summer has definitely been laid back, even
though I still have to wake up at 7am every weekday...

Ever since I started this project of making a website, I have
been having a major creativity block. I started out using different
colors, but I didn't like the overall "look" of the
site...too childish I think. Then I tried just using a single
background using one of my favorite colors (periwinkle) and
making it simple. Didn't like that either...still not creative
or bold enough. Might be a bit too girly. Eh...but that's what
I am: a girl. Figures, eh? Hehe. So...then, as I was looking
around my room (what better place to look for inspiration that
one's own room?)...my December 2000 issue of Vanity Fair (with
Jude Law on the cover) caught my eye. The overall red, black,
& white scheme of the magazine pages (along with the plethora
of pictures) was nice. Simple. Sassy. Worth a try. So here is
my new look! Okay...so it's not exactly like Vanity Fair...but
that was the inspiration and I like this new look better, so
all is good since it works for me! ...so there!

SUMMER.2001
So what's going on now? It's summertime!!! So I'm at home in
Jersey. I have a full-time internship, which means I'm driving
2 hours a day to get to work & working 8 hours a day, 5
days a week. Thus, this does not leave me much time to just
chill & catch up with friends, but I've still managed to
see some them & I'm still working on spending more time
to with them!
