The Strogg have established a cargo/relay station that services this whole sector. Two weeks ago an entire squadron of bombers was shot down. That's what happens when your intelligence officer mistakes anti-air guns for a power source. Your task force has been ordered to gain access to the gun control. Command has prepared a disk that should cause the entire system to overload, disabling the guns long enough to complete a series of airstrikes. As you and your comrades emerged from the vent access, you were ambushed. Quickly you dive for cover. As the rest of your force is shot down, you grab a shotgun, a few extra shells, and crawl through a conveyor shaft. With the cries of your friends just dying out, you step into another room. This one's empty - lucky for you. Now guess what? I hadn't planned on releasing this map, and have chalked it up to a learning experience. But, since there have been no new Q2 maps in a long time, I decided I would. I know this isn't the next great original map that Q2 fans have been waiting for, but hopefully it will help pass the time till the next great map does come.
