Aspects of Aethereal Gravity
Abstract:
I will discuss deformations of general relativity incorporating a
dynamical preferred rest frame (Einstein-aether theory) or absolute
time function (Horava gravity). The talk will touch on a variety of
topics, such as the relation between these theories, their stability,
viability, cosmological features, black holes, and Hamiltonian
structure.
