The LIST facility is housed in the G. G. Brown Building on the University of Michigan North Campus. The facility is a
state-of-the-art laboratory facility in which sensors and sensing systems for monitoring and controlling physical systems
are being conceived and validated. Students and faculty have access to a wide range of embedded system and mechatronic
tools for the design and construction of low-power wireless sensors, piezoelectric active sensors, and structural actuation
technologies. Analog and digital electronic test equipment is available including digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers,
microprocessor development kits, and standard electronics fabrication equipment. The facility also has extensive structural
testing capabilities including modal shakers, shake tables, and load frames. To support data acquisition activities by the
team, LIST also has modern multi-channel data acquisition systems for use in the field.
