I am a second-year doctoral pre-candidate in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan. I work with
Profs. Ellen Arruda,
Krishna Garikipati, and
Karl Grosh
studying (in very general terms) the mechanics of growth and remodeling in biological soft tissue.
In a previous life, I received my B.S.E. [2003] and M.S. [2004] from Tulane University (both in biomedical engineering) on methods for the viscoelastic characterization of very soft tissues under the mentorship of Prof.
Francis Suh.
You will mostly find here content related to my ongoing/future academic/research pursuits, and a bit about previous research areas I've dabbled in (not in Ann Arbor, of course). There is also a brief glimpse of my recent extracurricular distractions.
