» canyon land
All of these pictures were taken without wandering too far from the road due to our limited time. While plenty of amazing scenery can be seen from the road, Zion also offers many remote areas for exploration.

Amazing formations like this surround Utah 9 as it makes it's way through the park.

Mist hanging on the canyon walls on a rainy morning.

Morning views.

Misty morning.

Still cloudy.

Just off Utah 9. A small creek can barely be seen below, emerging from the canyon. Not sure how many official trails there are around here, but one could no doubt have some fun just wandering around in this area.

Checkerboard Mesa.

Creek that follows Utah 9.

Utah 9.

Gray day.

Streaked walls.

The sun breaking through.

In the clouds.

Fall color, and flowers.

Blue skies.

Some fall color, and some cliffs.

» kolob canyons
We arrived at sunset and the sun hitting the cliffs was amazingly beautiful, unfortunately the pictures didn't turn out that great.

Kolob Canyons.

Looking East.
