      Current Work

      Research and Professional Interests

I did my PhD work at the University of Michigan Medical School Medical Scientist Training Program (MD/PhD). My thesis research explored the molecular mechanisms by which growth hormone regulates age-associated changes in gene expression with work in the laboratories of Jessica Schwartz, Ph.D. and Kotoku Kurachi, Ph.D..

Previous research work was with Dr. David Mogul, Ph.D., Biomedical Engineering Department, Northwestern University, exploring hippocampal electrophysiology.

I spent a year on the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology clinic of Laurence A Boxer , M.D..
