ten year reunion Class of 1994

Below is some RSVP and payment information, along with a detailed schedule outlining the events (schedule is also included as an attachment). Looking forward to seeing everyone!

RSVP

We received a final RSVP count for 33 people, and have made reservations accordingly. If you can’t come to some of the events, please let us know so that we can adjust the numbers (we have set menus, set reservations and price per head set ups etc, so if you’ve RSVP’d your portion will be added to the bill and you will be responsible for paying it – so if you can’t make it, please, please let us know)! If you haven’t RSVP’d and would like to come to some or all of the events, please do! We want everyone to come, but just ask that you please email us to let us know so as soon as possible so we can make modifications to our reservations.

PAYMENT

For payment, we have decided on a pay-as-you-go system. So at the end of each night, each person will be responsible for their portion, so please bring lots of 5’s, 10’s and 20’s to make the process easier (we will do our best to provide change). Some of the events will be the total bill divided by the number of people (karaoke room), and some will be a price per head cost (private party at Citrus Bar & Grill).

Below is the schedule for the weekend (also included as an attachment):

August 13th, Friday 8PM - 12AM: Karaoke Night

It’s been a while (10 years!) …many of us haven’t seen each other in years, and a lot has changed…so naturally, we are anticipating some initial shyness. Well screw that, let’s skip the awkwardness and break the ice on the first night with some Tokyo-style karaoke.

We’ve rented Village Karaoke’s largest private room from 8PM to midnight. For those of you who are shy and don’t want to sing, the room is spacious and doubles as a lounge where we can hang out and talk. Those who can’t make it right at 8PM due to late flights etc, just show up later anyway! Village Karaoke asks that their customers bring in their own beer and food, so everyone who wants to drink, bring beer/alcohol with you! Six-packs, twelve-packs, twenty-four-packs, bottles of vodka, whatever does it for you. We’ll provide some finger food to snack on.

Estimated cost: $40-50

Where: Village Karaoke
Address: 27 Cooper Square, New York, NY 10003 (corner of E 5th St and Cooper Square)
Phone: 212-254-0066

August 14th, Saturday 12:30-4PM – Picnic in Central Park

Meet at the entrance to Central Park at E 72nd St and 5th Ave at 12:30PM for an afternoon in beautiful Central Park. Bring a bag lunch/drink/games/whatever you desire for a picnic lunch. The plan is to just hang out chat.

August 14th, Saturday 7:45PM - 12AM: Private Party at Citrus Bar & Grill

From 7:45PM to 12AM on Saturday night, the private lounge at Citrus Bar & Grill is all ours! Dinner will be a set menu with lots of “Asian flair” food, so show up hungry…and thirsty, because it will also be “nomihoudai” – unlimited, free-flowing drinks.

(Thanks to Mimi and her personal connections, we were able to negotiate a really good deal on the whole package).

Estimated price: $80-100

Where: Citrus Bar & Grill
320 Amsterdam Avenue, New York, NY 10023 (cross street W. 75th St)
Tel: 212-595-0500

August 15th, Sunday 11AM: Dim Sum Go Go Brunch in Chinatown

For those of you who don’t fly out until later, our last event is dim sum in Chinatown. “Dim Sum Go Go” is a collaboration between a French-American food writer and a Hong Kong chef. The result is dim sum with a unique twist, such as beet-juice flavored dumpling dough.

Estimated price: $20

Where: Dim Sum Go Go
Where: 5 E. Broadway
New York, NY 10038-1013
(Chinatown/Lower Manhattan, between Catherine St. and Chatham Sq.)
Tel: 212-732-0797

See you in New York!
