Your browser must know how to launch Enhanced Cu-SeeMe when
it receives the Enhanced CU-SeeMe file from my server, otherwise
it will download a useless file and nothing will work.
Using NETSCAPE:
1. From General Preferences from the Options menu, select Helper Applications.
2. Click Create New Type button.
3. Mime type is "application".
4. Mime subtype is "x-cuseeme".
5. File extensions is "cu, csm".
6. Set the ACTION to "launch the application".
7. Specify "Enhanced CU-See-Me as the application. ie.. c:\cuseeme\cuseem32.exe
(p.s. make sure you path this application's executable)
Using INTERNET EXPLORER:
1. Select View/Options and click on the "Programs" Tab.
2. Click on the "File Types.." button.
3. Click on "New Type".
4. In the "Description of Type" box, type Enhanced Cu-SeeMe.
5. In the "Content Type (MIME)" box, type application/x-cuseeme.
6. In the "Default Extension for Content Type" box type .cu
7. Under the "Actions:" box click "New"
8. In the "Action" box type "Open"
9. In the "application used to perform action" box type "c:\cuseeme\cuseem32.exe" or
click "Browse" to navigate through your system and locate the main cuseeme application.
10. Click OK.
11. Uncheck "Confirm Open after Download".
12. Click >Close, Close and OK.
