| The Condo!
A BIG time stand, for BIG time guys. Its big and roomy with max comfort. The camo skirt works great on this stand. Fairly heavy to lift into the tree, but worth it. Put it up and leave it year after year. A rope loop stapled or nailed behind the seat and at the top post can act as a hanger. Loop this hanger over a stub branch or put in a treestep to hang it on during setup. A ratchet strap goes on next to hold the base. Finally, chain it up. Same basic construction techniques as previously listed. Lately, I've been using 1x2 pieces as the frame, and 1/2 inch plywood for the platform. Next, I'm going to try 1/4 inch plywood. With the rigid 1x2 under frame (use wood glue and screws) you can get away with minimal thickness on the plywood. This lightens up the stand tremendously!. All future stands I make will be 1/4' wolominized (if available).
