Track down an old artificial Christmas "pine" tree that some one is tossing out after the December holidays or head down to you local store and catch an 80% off "after Christmas sale". These 'fake' trees are just the ticket to use on you treestand for camouflage. They are synthetic thus they withstand the rigors of the outdoors and look so real that even Santa Clause can't tell them apart from the real thing. Generally, they are constructed on tough, bendable wire that will conform to most any shape desired.

Drill a hole into the frame of the treestand or attach blocks with drilled (angled) holes in them. Do not drill all the way through the block. This provides a "stop" for the pole. Insert an arrow or other pole. These fiberglass poles are from an old discarded dome tent. |
Keep wrapping the branches around the pole (shaft) and tape. |
Put several completed camo poles around the treestand. |

A light spray of grey paint will blend them in better. A green blob is suspicious, grey paint will break it up.
