DNATSEERT IPA

Check out Drew T's (N.J.)  home brew stand!

CAD  WHIP drawings  under development.

(requires free WHIP!)

This is the latest in new,  homebrew treestand.  It is lighter than most of my homebrew's (with an even lighter model coming soon), has a large platform along with a large butt bucket.  All joints are glued with liquid nail construction adhesive and screwed together with non-rusting "deck" and other screws for strength. "Teeth" make out of L-channel angle iron and placed at the top and bottom will add "bit" into the tree and keep the stand from doing a left-right pendulum manuver, along with the API buckle/strap and upper/ lower security bolts.

The platform is open to allow a "view thru" to the open sky.  Underneath the main grid platform is a pair of additional structural ribs (set in a "V" formation) that add a lot of strength and torsional rigidity with out adding excessive weight.

Final step is to add the coated cable and then have fun with some camo paint!

The buckle system comes from (API) Bowhunters Warehouse for $14.95.
