How do I check excused and unexcused absences?

  1. The first thing you must do is select the Attendance Icon from the main menu of the Integrated Student Administration Package.
  2. From the Attendance Menu you must select either "Middle School Teachers" or "High School Teachers" which ever you may be. This will bring up the Attendance Form.
  3. Next you must select your name in the Teacher Box to the left of the form. You select it by scrolling up and down using the arrows to the right of the box. The last thing that you must do after scrolling to your name is to highlight it. If you do not highlight your name you will not be able to proceed successfully.
  4. Below the Teacher Box you will find the Class Box. Once you have selected your name and you click on the Teacher Box Arrow¸ you will see all of the classes listed that you teach. Select the class for which you would like to check attendance history.
  5. Once you have selected the class click on the Period Box Arrow. The Period Box will show a list of every period that you teach the selected course. Now select the period you would like to view.
  6. When you select the Teacher, the Class, and the Period the class list for the specified course will be generated on the right side of the Attendance Form.
  7. Now you must enter a date or a range of dates in the two blanks below. If you click in the left most box above the subform which displays Today's Tardies/Absences and insert the single date for which you would like to examine the attendance. If you are searching for a range of dates, place the second date in the next date box (which is to the left of the "Sorted Attendance" button). Once you have the appropriate date or dates selected, click the "Sorted Attendance" button. This will generate a report of individual student's absences and tardies from this period of this course during the prescribed date range.
  8. If you would like to print this list, simply click the "Print Sorted Attendance" button at the top of the Date Modified Attendance Form.
