Cut'n Pasties.....from the chat room:

About 7 years ago, I had a new PSE, that's when they used tear drops at the ends of the cable. Within a month while shooting a league with the dealer, the drop, dropped! Wham!
dealer sent it back, and gave me anouther bow from his stock, 2 weeks POW again on a new bow. I traded it in for a upgrade to a differant harness system. All was fine for about a year, then the limbs twisted. I later found out that the dealer "ate" the repairs of the first 2 bows. I was shooting 6 gr. per lb. PSE said the bows were dry fired and wouldn't honor the warrentee!
Anyways, the dealer got 5 stars and I rate PSE at minus 5
I never will buy anouther
Pull
Shoot
Explode, again!
I know others that love them, and will buy nothing but.
For me,,,,,,,,No Way, thank you.

Only problem I had was noise. I never found one that didn't sound like the thing was going to fly apart. I've had 3 PSE bows.

On another note...

I was in a shoot and a fellow in front of me drew his PSE and the riser broke in half! I still don't know how he walked away from it. It did give him a bloody nose and a few scratches.

I had a PSE MACH-FLITE 4 that I loved but it exploded a limb. I had my local archery dealer send it back to PSE. Unfortunately they didn't make them anymore, so I was given a bow of equal value. I really didnt like the new bow so I sold it.

<update> I had the MACH-4R. They gave me a new MACH-4 but the cables and cams and riser were different. I just didnt like the feel of this bow.

I broke a bow limb shooting at a 4 pointer last year. The bottom cam slammed into the seat portion of my treestand and snapped its pin through the limb. I sent it to PSE and they fixed it and sent it back, free of charge. It is an XSR3000. I am having trouble with accuracy though (see above).

My friend has his limb crack, and PSE sent him a new one. I have had the tear drop pop off and explode too! Last week I was shooting and the cable came undone at the crimp, BOOM. Dealer fixed it and now it shoots like crap.

I've had 2 PSE explosions. My Vector II split the riser at the grip the day before winter bow opened in '92 and my SR 1000 broke the piece at the end of the top limb that holds the axle in place. In both instances I had either the new bow or the new limbs in my hands at the end of a week. For the record, I've also had 3 different Bears blow up, 2 Martins, a Jennings and a Browning. The only bows I've shot a lot are the Martins and the PSEs. The rest went back to the shop never to return. I guess I should admit that they were all #80 or more with hard cams on all but the Martins. None the less, if a company is going to offer a #100 bow then they should be able to build it so it can be shot without endangering the archer!

I had a buddy I worked with who had his riser break into on a cast model.PSE sent him a new top of the line machined aluminum riser bow.He was very impressed with this and swears by PSE bows.Personally if I had a riser break into when I was shooting it,it would take a little bit more than a new bow to calm me down. Thats just my .02 cents though. JIMMY

I've got a PSE Thunderbolt. About a month after I purchased it I noticed the paint on the front of the riser coming off. I'm sure it was caused by my sweaty hands since it was summer. When I called PSE, they said it was not there problem. I know I caused it, but only one month old, they should have replaced it in my opinion. Needless to say I have bought my last PSE.

PSE sucks  .PSE  Dealer sold me a brand spanking new PSE Fire Flight(first bow) with a cracked limb in 1994. Didn't shoot worth a Damn go figure. I  shoot Xi now and they went out of business. What's the world coming too. Good Luck Hunting!
