CITIES ON THE TEXAS EAGLE ROUTE
Step aboard the Texas Eagle and we'll transport
you from the big-city excitement of Chicago to
the down-home flavor of San Antonio. Years from
today, what you'll remember most from this
vacation won't be the Alamo, but instead how you
got there.

Your train departs from Chicago's Union Station,
famous for its spacious Great Hall. Heading south,
we'll stop in Springfield, then continue on to St.
Louis. Look out your window for the Gateway Arch as
you travel through the city, toward Little Rock.
From there, you can take connecting bus service to
Hot Springs, or remain on board and head to
Texarkana and Dallas. The train turns south after Ft.
Worth, and after a quick stop in Austin, pulls into
San Antonio just before sundown. After you grab some
dinner, be sure to look skyward -- as the saying goes,
the stars at night are big and bright in the heart of
Texas.
