Miwa Satoshi

Miwa is one of the shows most interesting characters. We first see him in episode 2 where we just get glances of him. His first speaking role is in episode 3 when he sees Yuu in the library and asks to sit next to him. He (inadvertently) gives Yuu the impression that he is gay. Yuu quickly leaves the library and thinks that this guy is dangerous. Miwa is really interested in Meiko and lets her know about it. This confuses Meiko who also believes that Miwa is gay. He tries to divert her attention away from Namura-sensei and almost succeeds.

Miwa is the student body president and a favorite among Marmalade Boy fans. He is sensitive, caring and very funny. He is also incredibly rich and is a master manipulator (see episode 23). Miwa is probably the most funny character in the whole show. He can be very serious, though, when someone he cares about is very hurt. Then, he doesn't hesitate to let his anger show.

Miwa becomes Yuu's best friend and without him, Yuu's world may have fallen apart a few times. He is there for Yuu when he needs him most and is very unselfish about the friendship. Miwa is also a great cure for Meiko when Namura-sensei leaves town. He makes her believe in herself again.
