The school is going on a trip to Hokkaido. At the airport, Miki and Meiko are discussing how excited they are about the trip. Meiko comments on how Yuu and Ginta are in a different tour group than they are. Miki says that she is glad for that because it will be less stressful that way. When they get to Hokkaido, they go touring with their group and Miki comments on how it would spoil it if she were depressed. She makes a conscious effort not to be depressed.
The group first takes the tram to Goryoukaku which is a star shaped island. Then Miki gets distracted by a souvenir shop. When she turns around to show something to Meiko, Meiko is gone. She goes looking for her group but can't find anyone. She decides to go where the group was going next on her own. She gets there but still doesn't see anyone. Suddenly, someone taps her on the shoulder. It's Yuu. Yuu asks Miki to join their group. Then Ginta comes over. As the three are talking, Arimi comes over and grabs Ginta's arm. Looks like her school is there on a trip too. Yuu takes Miki and starts leave, saying that it looks like they are in the way. Ginta doesn't want them to leave but Arimi is demanding. Suddenly, Miki tells her to let him go that she is confusing Ginta. Arimi says that Miki must still have a thing for Ginta. Yuu realizes that if Arimi is there, HE must be there also.
Sure enough, Rokutanda shows up, demanding that Ginta let go of Arimi. The four turn around and everyone starts laughing at his hair cut. He looks at Yuu and says that it isn't over yet, there will be a rematch. Yuu tells him that he doesn't think so. While Rokutanda is talking to Yuu, Ginta and Arimi get away. Rokutanda follows them. Meiko and the rest of the group arrives and Miki goes back with them.
Miki tells Meiko about Arimi and Ginta. Miki says that they are both awful and Meiko asks her if she's jealous. Miki denies it and says that she can't believe their irresponsible attitudes.
At a snack shop, Arimi and Ginta have a drink. She starts small talking and he half-heartedly responds. Arimi gets upset. He apologizes then tells her that he can't go out with her since he already likes someone. She tells him not to be conceited, that she only likes Yuu. Ginta's confused. Arimi convinces him that Miki was upset that they are "dating" so they should keep up the charade to make Miki jealous. Ginta reluctantly agrees with the plan. He suggests that Matsuura might also get jealous. Arimi says that it isn't likely and the wind blows cherry blossoms through her hair. Ginta realizes that she is really pretty.
At dinner that evening, Miki wonders where Ginta and Arimi went. She stares at Ginta and he looks over at her. Then he turns away. Yuu comes over and asks her to take a tram ride with him. Meiko goes with them and they go to the Goryoukaku tower again. Miki gets a picture and then notices Namura and Ryouko standing together. She comments that they look good together. Meiko is a little distraught by that comment.
Later, after everyone is in bed, Meiko goes out on the balcony. Namura joins her there and they cuddle.
The next day, they go to Sapparo. While doing some sightseeing, Arimi runs up to Ginta and asks if he waited long. Just as Ginta and Arimi are about to leave, Meiko and Miki show up. Ginta and Arimi decide to stay. Miki notices how "close" they are getting. Rokutanda shows up and Ginta tells him to leave him and Arimi alone that no one will come between them. Miki is shocked. Arimi is impressed. Miki grabs Yuu's hand and runs to the elevator. Ginta and Arimi leave also. Miki is walking along still holding on Yuu and thinking about Ginta and Arimi and getting angry. Yuu stops and asks if it is ok for her to be there with him. He says that he knows what is going on is bothering her and she tries but can't deny it.
At the airport the next day, Ginta and Arimi wave goodbye until the plane takes off. Miki watches him.
