LOVE GAME
"I Really Hate Ginta!"

This episode opens with Meiko thinking about Namura and the kiss. She remembers how Namura gets a page for a telephone call and leaves. Yuu makes a noise and she asks who is there. Yuu steps out and tells her that he saw them and to next time check more carefully to see if anyone is around. Then he tells her goodbye. She asks him to wait. She asks him not to say anything to anyone. He promises that he won't but he wants to ask one question. He asks if Miki knows about this. She tells him no. Meiko tries to tell Miki using the memobot but she can't bring herself to do it.

Secret love. The next day at school, Yuu is once again on Lunchtime News. The reporter asks about a love triangle between Miki, Ginta and Yuu. Yuu doesn't reply. The class takes that to mean that it is true. Miki is furious with Yuu and Ginta is depressed.

At the tennis tournament, Miki is looking for Yuu and Ginta. She finds him and Arimi is there. Yuu asks Arimi who told her about the match and she says that the opponent is from her school, Sagaki Academy. Yuu gets a funny look on his face and Arimi tells him that he is playing against "you know who". Ginta comes up and says that they should practice before the match. Yuu tells him that he doesn't feel well. He says that one of the opponents hates him. They were classmates in middle school and this guy could never beat him so he has had a vengeance against Yuu ever since. Ginta thinks to himself that he has heard this story before. Ginta asks about his name and they both answer "Rokutanda Tsutomu" at the same time.

Rokutanda then walks up and says hello to Yuu. Yuu says that Rokutanda is irritating. Rokutanda then sees Arimi and asks if she came to cheer for them. She says no that she came to cheer for Yuu. Rokutanda says that he thought they broke up. She tells him that it is none of his business. She tells him that she has been turning him down since elementary school and that he should just give up. Ginta laughs very hard and Miki tells him that he shouldn't. Ginta starts badgering Rokutanda. Yuu asks what their relationship is and they tell him that they are cousins. They explain that since they are the same age, they have been compared since childhood.

The rivalMiki asks if Rokutanda is the cousin who got the pin from Wimbleton and Rokutanda asks if she is the girl he gave it to. She says yes. Then he loudly says that she must be the girl who lost out when Ginta accidentally dumped her. Miki is mortified. She sees the large crowd watching them and tells Ginta that she hates him and runs off. Ginta is miserable.

Namura comes over and tells the boys that it is time to start the match. Rokutanda's side wins first serve and Ginta chooses which side they will start on. Rokutanda issues a challenge and Ginta accepts for both him and Yuu. Yuu is not happy with this.

Miki is in the gazebo crying. She wonders how the guys are doing. They are not doing so hot. Ginta can't get her words out of his head. He is making stupid mistakes. Ginta keeps looking for Miki. Arimi sees how this is affecting Ginta and goes to look for Miki. She tells Miki what is happening and Miki comes running. With Miki cheering them on, Ginta's game turns around and they win the match.

New Love? After the match, Yuu and Ginta are talking. Yuu tells Ginta how he almost blew it. Ginta tells him that he's right. Yuu then tells him that he recovered nicely. Ginta says that he is uncomfortable when Yuu says nice things to him. He reminds Yuu that Yuu said Ginta wasn't worth his time Yuu admits that he lied. He says that he knew Miki loved Ginta and that is why he said it. Ginta then asks if Yuu likes Miki too. Yuu just smiles and walks away.

As they are leaving, Arimi is waiting outside the wall. She walks up to Ginta and tell him that after seeing him play, she became interested in him. She takes him by the arm and tells him to have tea with her and talk. Ginta doesn't want to go but Arimi is pushy. Miki can't believe it and is speechless.
