- American Studies Crossroads
Sponsored by the American Studies Association, this contains a great deal of "pedagogical, scholarly, and institutional information for the international American Studies Community." Included is the American Studies Web with links to relevant web sites.
- Voice of
the Shuttle: Web page for humanities research
maintained by Prof. Alan Liu of University of California at Santa Barbara. It includes links in a number
of areas in the humanities.

- Humanities Text Initiative a University of Michigan project providing a fully-searchable collection of electronic texts in SGML (Standard Generalized Markup Language.)
- The JSTOR Journal Browser
an Andrew W. Mellon funded project at the University of Michigan to digitize full runs of ten core journal titles in the areas of economics and history.
- Project Muse includes electronic versions of journals published by Johns Hopkins University Press.
