Detroit Connections
In my Detroit Connections class, undergraduate students partner with Detroit school communities to create collaborative, community-based art . Our method is to facilitate a process of dialogue and exploration with our partner to arrive at projects and themes which satisfy the needs of the particular community. Currently we are working at Harms Elementary and Greenfield Union Elementary Schools.
