My name is Janani B.S and I am pursuing my graduate studies (Masters) at the School of Information. - University of Michigan in the field of Human - Computer Interaction (HCI) | Social Computing. Prior to this, I completed my undergraduate degree (Bachelors) in Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology at Anna University, Chennai. After completing my under graduation I thought it was crucial for me to gain some 'hands-on' experience in my field. I worked for two and a half years as an analyst programmer at Vizual Business Tools, UK and Wipro Technologies.

My educational and professional training helped evolve an interest in programming, user experience, interaction design and product design. The focus of most of my academic and professional works has been design, evaluation, and implementation. I enjoy working with clients, designers and engineers to create products, innovate and suggest strategic solutions that can help a product survive in an competitive market. Today, with the influx of technology, where the computer has become a basic necessity - and everything is 'just a click away', my philosophy is to create 'out-of-the-box' yet user-friendly websites, applications and products.
