Named in Honor of Victor C. Vaughn, former dean of the Medical School, this building stands on the corner of Catherine and Glen Streets.  It is a five story, light red, brick structure with the main entrance facing the south.  The building was intended to house medical students, but was used during World War II to house specialized army medical and dental personnel.[91]  Before it was returned to use as a dormitory for medical students, women were accommodated there when there was strain on housing with the return of the veterans.[91]

Today, it is the oldest building on the medical campus, and now contains offices.[107]
