Designed by Shreve, Anderson, and Walker, and completed in 1939, this three story structure was connected to the Neuropsychiatric Institute through an underground tunnel.  When it was built, it had room for sixty-one interns in mostly single rooms.[63]

The Interns’ Home was later used as a clinical faculty office building.  However, it was demolished on September 30th, 2003 to make way for the new Cardiovascular Center.[19]
