This
two story, brick structure was constructed in 1948 to provide
storage and processing for food served at campus residence halls.[49] The building was constructed on the corner
of Glen and Huron Streets and designed by Louis C. Kingscott
and Associates and cost $1,450,000. It
contained a bakery, butcher shop, large refrigerator rooms, and warehouse
storage for canned goods.[49] The
