With a current capacity of 13,751, Crisler Arena is home to Men’s and Women’s basketball, women’s gymnastics, and many other events.  The building cost about $7.2 million and was completed in 1967.[15]  It is constructed of reinforced concrete and has a partial brick exterior.  The overall plan is a rectangular oval.  The arena was actually designed by former Michigan linebacker Dan Dworsky, who was coached by Herbert O. "Fritz" Crisler, whom the arena is named after.[15]

A special feature is the home team locker rooms accessed from maple paneled hallways lined with photos of past athletes.  The rooms are spacious and somewhat luxurious with a lot of amenities.[15]
