Business Administration Building Today
|
Located
on the block bordered by Tappan and Hill Streets and formerly Monroe and
Haven Streets, the School
of Business Administration Building
was one of the university’s earliest high rises.[93]
It was designed by Lee Black and Kenneth C. Black of Lansing at
the total cost of $2,715,000.[93]
The building has two low wings projecting east and southward with an
office tower in the center. The entire
building is covered in orange colored brick.
The interior structure of the lower four levels is built of reinforced
concrete with a steel structure on the upper levels.[93]
The lower level contains a library, thirty classrooms, laboratories,
and lecture halls.[93]
