Alana Huszar

I am a third-year Math Ph.D. student at the University of Michigan, advised by Harm Derksen. I am an NSF graduate research fellow, and the current University of Michigan AWM Chapter president.

Currently, I'm thinking about complexity of determining matrix rank, as it relates to quiver representations and invariant theory. Talk to me about my other interests: tensors, representation theory, and algebraic combinatorics, as well.

My undergraduate years were at The College of New Jersey, where I was advised by Steffen Marcus.
