Alana Huszar

I am a fourth-year Math Ph.D. student at the University of Michigan, advised by Harm Derksen. I am an NSF graduate research fellow, and the current University of Michigan AWM Chapter vice-president.

Currently, I'm thinking about complexity of determining matrix rank, as it relates to quiver representations and invariant theory. Talk to me about my other interests: tensors, representation theory, and algebraic combinatorics, as well.

My undergraduate years were at The College of New Jersey, where I was advised by Steffen Marcus.
