Photography

After a sudden religious conversion in late 2010, I almost entirely only use film. It has made me more aware of the moment and more conscious about the frame. The slowing down using old techniques has made the process of photography longer lasting, more hands on, and thus more enjoyable.

As part of the process I also dabble in Miksang from time to time with whatever digital camera I have on hand.

  Ilford HP5 or FP4 (sometimes Delta or Kodax Tri-X) for B/W, Fujicolor Velvia for transparencies. All b/w development and silver gelatin prints are done in my darkroom.
  E-6 slides are sent to Dwayne's Photo. Images on the web are scanned from negatives or transparencies using an Epson V700
