Biography

Hamid Nejati received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2004 and 2006, respectively. He joined the school of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at University of Michigan in 2009, where he is working towards his Ph.D. with Prof. Kamal Sarabandi and Prof. Anthony England. He received his M.Sc. in applied mathematics from University of Michigan in 2014.

Hamid's research interests broadly include passive and active remote sensing, analog synthesis, modeling and design of RF/mixed signal circuits and systems, compressive sensing, and plasmonics/nanophotonic devices.Hamid received a best student paper nomination in 2008 IEEE Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems. He is also the author and co-author of several peer reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings with 489 citations and H-index of 11 [ Google scholar website]
