      <h1>General Information</h1>
      <p><acronym title="Harish Narayanan">I</acronym> am a <acronym title="Graduate Student Research Assistant">GSRA</acronym> at the Computational Mechanics Laboratory at the <a href="http://www.umich.edu/">University of Michigan</a>, currently working toward my <acronym title="Philosophiae Doctor">PhD</acronym> in <a href="http://me.engin.umich.edu/">Mechanical Engineering</a> and <a href="http://cac.engin.umich.edu/">Scientific Computing</a>. I received my <acronym title="Master of Science in Engineering"><a href="http://www-personal.engin.umich.edu/~hnarayan/downloads/images/degree.jpg">MSE</a></acronym> in Mechanical Engineering right here at the University of Michigan in December 2003. Prior to this, I received my <acronym title="Bachelor of Engineering">BE</acronym> from the <a href="http://www.unom.ac.in/">University of Madras</a>, India in July 2002.</p>
      <p>I work with professors <a href="http://me.engin.umich.edu/people/faculty/krishna.shtml">Krishna Garikipati</a>, <a href="http://me.engin.umich.edu/people/faculty/arruda.shtml">Ellen Arruda</a> and <a href="http://me.engin.umich.edu/people/faculty/grosh.shtml">Karl Grosh</a>. Currently, we are looking at interesting questions relating to continuum formulations to describe and simulate development of biological tissue.</p>
