Things to consider for an interactive, non-linear work:
Think about your viewer and the interaction you are creating for them as they navigate through your piece. How can you use a non-linear pathway to better communicate your ideas? How can a fragmented series of scenes add up to and create a meaningful experience?
Think about the overall clarity of the interface. Is it clear to a newcomer what to do, what buttons to push, or where to start? What is your interface based on? Physical space? mental space? a real device? (such as a tape deck, etc) a game?
Does your piece have an end? or does it loop indefinitely and have many different variations?
