. . . still in Ann Arbor. You know, when I got here I thought this would just be a stopover point while I got my Ph.D., and then I’d be off to some faculty position somewhere. But that was before I realized I wasn’t a very good astrophysicist.
Instead, I found out a couple things: that I’m a pretty good IT guy; I love Ann Arbor; I like using Macs more that PCs (which is odd considering what I do for a living); and I’m passionate about reaching the heart of Ann Arbor with the love of Jesus. Overall, I’d say I’ve got a lot to be thankful for.
So here I am, in Ann Arbor, working for the University of Michigan Health System, doing nothing with my degrees, being a dad and husband, and puzzling out what it means to be a student of Jesus. I’m in my 30s with a whole different set of priorities than when I got here. Basically, my life revolves around three main things: my relationship with Jesus, my family (look up top if you missed ‘em), and my job. When I stop and think about it, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
