On January 25th, my college was holding a special dinner in celebration of Burns Night. According to the BBC - "The Burns Supper was started by friends of the Scottish poet Rabbie Burns, a few years after his death in 1796, as a tribute to his memory, but it has also become a celebration of Scottishness and of Scottish ancestry."

The LMH buds - Richard, Mike, and myself - all dressed up for a black tie affair. How very posh we look. (rolls eyes)

You can't have a Scottish celebration without bagpipes. Unfortunately (or perhaps not) the guy only played briefly while they brough in the haggis.

And this would be haggis. No, I'm not entirely sure of what it is composed of. Perhaps that is why I was able to eat it...it actually didn't taste all that bad.

Quite a large percent of the students at LMH turned up to hall tonight in their finest...

Anyway, that's it for now...not sure what other photo-ops will present themselves in Oxford, but when they do I'll update again.
