Pisidian Antioch

The Kelsey Museum at the University of Michigan, working in conjunction with the UM3D Lab, reproduced in 3D several major buildings from the site of an ancient roman city of Antioch in modern day Turkey. Three graduate students did most of the modeling in 3DS Max. I cleaned up and optimized the final model for presentation in the CAVE. The image at the bottom right is an overlay of the city model on modern day terrain in Google Earth.

Antioch can now be viewed in interactive 3D with Virtools' 3D Life Player!
