Comments are still welcome and should be submitted NOT LATER THAN Friday, May 24, 1996. Instructions for providing comments are provided at the end of this message. There are three (3) files that make up the full report (except for the transmittal letters): report.pdf, attach.pdf and exhibit.pdf. Report.pdf contains the title page, table of contents, executive summary, and the body of the report. Attach.pdf contains a complete set of the attachments, and exhibit.pdf contains the entire strategic plan (exhibit 1). To facilitate downloading by those who only want part of the draft report, or those who cannot handle large files, there are a total of 20 files available, representing various parts of the draft report. Four files are available in both ASCII text (.txt) and Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (.pdf). All other files are available only in PDF format. DiMario transmitted the draft report to Congress on the Study to Identify Measures Necessary for a Successful Transition to a More Electronic Federal Depository Library Program. In transmitting the report, Mr. DiMario stated that the draft was being submitted to comply with the legislative requirements for submission by March 1996, and he proposed an additional 60-day period for public review and comment. GPO plans to submit the final report to Congress at the end of May.
