Instructions for downloading a file that can be manipulated in Excel
  (Including instructions on changing the .txt extension to .csv)

To be able to manipulate file in Excel:
 (after clicking on the Download option and viewing the download window)
You'll need ZIP software (PKZIP, WINZIP)
Select Comma Delimited
Save file to local disk
Find file - double click - this will open up ZIP software
Extract files
Read the readme files
The data files are txt files with the word "data" as part of their name

Alternative A:
Open Excel and search using the "All files" format
From FILE menu, choose OPEN
Open the data file
Follow prompts - choose delimited, then comma delimited, etc.

Alternative B (for users asking for .csv files):
Change data file extension from .txt to .csv
Double click on data file - it will load into Excel
