2002 FEDERAL DEPOSITORY LIBRARY CONFERENCE AND FALL DEPOSITORY LIBRARY COUNCIL
                           MEETING PLANNED FOR OCTOBER

The 2002 Federal Depository Library Conference and Fall Depository Library
Council meeting will be held October 20 through October 23, 2002, in Arlington,
VA. The Conference is the largest gathering in the country designed specifically
for depository library staff. It will have programs for the beginning depository
librarian or technician as well as for experienced staff. Federal publishing
agency representatives will discuss their electronic information initiatives and
preview those still in the planning stages.

The meeting hotel is the Holiday Inn Rosslyn at Key Bridge, 1900 North Fort Myer
Drive, Arlington, Virginia 22209. A limited number of rooms are available at the
$150 (plus tax) Government rate, per night. This rate will be honored only
through September 20, 2002.
