          PUBLIC PRINTER APPOINTS ROBERTA I. SHAFFER TO LIBRARY COUNCIL

Public Printer Michael F. DiMario has named Roberta I. Shaffer as a new member
to the Depository Library Council to the Public Printer. Ms. Shaffer currently
serves as Executive Director of the Special Libraries Association. Her
appointment to the Council fills a vacancy created by the departure of Barbara
Levergood, who is relocating to Germany.
