DiMario has named five new members to the Depository Library Council to the Public Printer. The Council advises the Government Printing Office (GPO) on issues related to public access to Government information products through the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP). Administered by GPO, the FDLP is a nationwide, geographically-dispersed system comprising more than 1,300 libraries acting in partnership with the GPO to provide the general public with local access to Federal Government information products at no cost. The newly appointed members bring diversified experience to the Council. They are: * Paul Arrigo, Reference Coordinator/Government Documents and Electronic Services Librarian, Washburn University School of Law, Topeka, KS; * Daniel C. Barkley, Interim Director, Government Information, Microforms and Reference, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM; * Barbara J. Ford, Assistant Commissioner, Chicago Public Library, Chicago, IL; * Barbara Levergood, Electronic Documents Librarian, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC; and * John Kavaliunas, Chief, Marketing Services Division, U.S. Census Bureau, Washington, DC.
