We've developed our own little scale and catagories for game ratings and applied it to the games that we've played at lunch and weekend sessions.  Enjoy!

The following is our rating scale with meaning:

     10  Superior
      9
      8
      7  Above Average
      6
      5  Average
      4
      3  Below Average
      2
      1  Dismal
 

The following are our catagories with definitions:

• Tension - Do you sweat a little, a lot, or none at all?

• Balance - Do you feel in the game to the end?  Or maybe by midway the writings on the wall?

• Satisfaction - Do you feel like you’ve accomplished something in victory?  Does skill, wits, and gamer intuition rule or did you simply stumble your way to victory?

• Fun - Do you have a good time playing the game win, lose, or draw?  Is the game filled with lots of nasty laughs or just a few tense grimaces?
