It was during my Sophmore year that inspiration struck me. My two friends, Cindy Lee and Samantha Chau, were at the University of Chicago and had decided that they could not go home to New York for Thanksgiving. Longing for their company, I invited them to come on over and spend Thanksgiving with me at my dorm, Mosher-Jordan (MoJo). I had plenty of space, since I had no roommate, and the dorm would be empty with people having left for home. And so, much to my suprise and delight, they agreed to come and set about borrowing a car from a friend. Wednesday night they arrived, flush with excitement but hungry and tired at the 3AM time. We orderred pizza, chatted with my friend Ben, who in his generous and kind heart had lent me his television before heading home, and quickly fell victim to sleep. The next morn we woke at 3PM, and after hours of debate, cooking, and Star Wars on cable, it was finally done. I'm proud to say that it was my finest meal, complete with wine. And so we got tipsy, and took a few pictures. Sadly, these are but a few brief glimpses of those days, where we went clubbing (but couldn't get in since they didn't bring ID), bowling, exploring Detroit, and doing nothing. We rented The Shining, and were scared silly for days since we were inhabiting an empty dorm, the decor and lighting which matched the movie. And most of all, we had fun.
