I had just started school in Michigan, and seeing as how Cindy and Sam were relatively close being in Chicago, I happenned upon the brilliant idea to go visit them during the winter. So One weekend, I packed my bags, hopped aboard Amtrack, and headed off for the wilds of the big city. We ended up doing a lot of things, including being thrown out of a nightclub, having a late supper at China town (China Block more like it), visiting the many shops and stores of downtown, hitting the art museum, and topping it all with more dinner and a dorm party of sorts. It was quite the heady time, and not to mention some of the most fun I've had (despite my perpetually down mood... but what can I say, I'm miserable when I'm happiest, go figure). The weekend ended all too soon for me, and even though Cindy and Sam no longer reside there, my best memories will always be of this fun weekend. Unfortunately, I stopped shooting film after the first few hours (silly me, why did I do that?), but you can see some of the fun we were having the first night.
