So after years and years of asking when Ani would finally get married to Jyosh, the big day finally came ... in St. Louis. So, after months of agonizing over gift possibilities, and some more time agonizing over the travel arrangements, we all arrived in haphazard fashion. Me and Jeff shared a room, Elliott lived it up pimp style. Lots of late night eating, wedding was long but fun, reception was pimping style all around (bride and groom entrance kicked, and the arrival of us three amigos, fashionably late, was similarily kicking.). And of course topped off by a midnight trip to the arch, where we got kicked out at 1am. And as of Jan 2002, 4 months later, still no thank you card. Dissed!

| First meeting in 4 years. | PreWedding ceremonies and breakfast |
 | |
| Jyosh arrives in style | More prewedding ceremonies. The bride and her family's turn |
 | |
| Ani, now having graduated to family man elegibility status, apparently decides to give up all worldy attachments and become an ascetic. | Preparing for the journey with a cane, umbrella, and holy book. Bare feet are a portent of things to come, as his shoes will be stolen by the bride |
 | |
After having convinced Ani to give up the life of an ascetic (by stealing his travelling gear), the happy couple pose. Why use fill in flash? So you don't have to spend 15 minutes retouching the photo. Original is in upper left hand corner. | The Four Amigos just before Single Ani's funeral. Fill in flash not strong enough, the temple is too bright. Sorry for poor jpg quality, tried to keep filesize down for dialup people (me!). |
 | |
Who are those idiots that keep jumping into the picture? Again, 15 minutes of retouching. As you can see in the original, fill-in flash would have helped a great deal. | The happy couple and a third wheel. Ah-ha! fill-in flash and cropping out temple produce much better pic. |
 | |
First part of the wedding ceremony. Jyosh just changed into the magic red sari. Zoom lens needed. | Approaching the climax of the ceremony |
 | |
| A rare moment when you could see the happy couple and ceremonies unobstructed. | The curtain goes up to seperate the couple before the big necklace ceremony. |
 | |
| The big climax, they're now maried! Quick, run up and wail at them with the blessed rice! | The newlyweds pose for the first time. |
 | |
| Wrapping up the ceremonies that got skipped to make the noon deadline. Sadly, Ani doesn't accidentally set himself on fire again, as he did in the prewedding ceremonies. | The high guru, after preforming the Miracle of the Silent Room, gives his special blessing. |
 | |
| A touching invocation and prayer to end the festivities. If only most of the guests were here instead of lunching downstairs. | Jeff and Jaeya pose, don't they make a cute couple? A good case for using red-eye reduction flash. |
 | |
The happy couple and the groom's parents in a semi candid moment. More evidence that the viewfinder lies, as it claimed that this scene would barely fit. | First dance by the couple. What, no spotlight? |
 | |
| Still dancing. Hey, it's the singer from the band! We're at the cool table! (Of course it's the cool table, we're sitting here!) | Just missed the kiss shot. Did I really need to take so many dancing shots? |
 | |
| Wanted just a shot of Ani, but then these guys showed up. Still a good shot tho. | My four college roommates (Sandeep was over so often, he was paying rent). The blob is on the negative, developing error I suspect. |
