Clinical history
A 46 year-old male school bus driver with a history of hypertension has a VF arrest at home.
There is no history of cardiac disease, chest pain or other prodrome prior to the arrest.
CPR is performed in the field; EMS shocks the patient to NSR.
A diagnostic angiogram is performed the following day. The treatment plan is postponed until stress test results are obtained.
