Research Interests:

My research focuses on how human balance is controlled, regulated and maintained. This includes how balance develops, deteriorates and how to correct or compensate for problems resulting from medical condition or age. I have examined standing on a balance beam, treadmill-walking, and beam-walking. I have used techniques from the areas of biomechanics, neuroscience, and electrical engineering.
