I have to decide what colors to paint the remaining walls. Currently the colors that seem to look best are plum or maroon. They're such dark colors, though, that I think painting all the walls like that will make the kitchen too dark. So I might just do the largest wall along the front of the house in the dark color, and do the smaller walls in an off-white color.

When the walls are finally painted, I also have to touch up the ceiling in the kitchen where the half wall was attached, and the wall in the living room that used to be part of the wall opening, so they more closely match the paint around them.

The ceiling section that needs repainting - unfortunately, it's hard to make out the area here, but it's the less reflective area that's roughly centered.

The part of the living room wall that was filled in. The area in need of repainting is pretty obvious.
