Though the latter, better part of the evening seemed to have gone beyond her expectations. I can't imagine what she expected to happen in a tavern after a night of good hunting. Strange. Overall, though, the hunt felt just like home, if a little early in the season to be spending all night drinking for lack of work, as happens every winter in Rimmersgard. It was as much fun as the day we taught those Saxons a lesson about raiding our ships....I don't recall how they woerwhelmed our sister ship. Fortunately, she limped to the meeting point and fingered the pirates for us so we could chastise them. We had to cross the channel in record time or else we wouldn't have caught them. The fools definately learned their lesson when we burned theri shps down around their beards. On the other hand it took an amazingly long time to convince them to stop coming up for air. Was it one oar...no I think I broke two oars that day. Oh well, we still had enough oars to go around and fish our apples out of the North Sea. Those burnt, salted apples were the only fruit to ever last all winter....I should visit Rimmersgard again, last time I was a bit busy with my attempts at alterations. Wonder if they worked? So, Random cancelled the trial. Disappointing, since now I won't know exactly what happens to her. Why'd he place such a strange requirement on finding out what happened to her? I'd rather forget about the incident, and I'm sure he knows all about it by now. It was just cruel of him to want to bring it up. But kings can do what they will with prisoners and their people. At least I know she has been imprisoned, or at least have chosen to believe so. It isn't as good as slavery but it might be a suitable punishment, it might...well she isn't wndering around, unshackled anymore so I shan't worry about it further. Just forget the whole thing even happened. Odin be done with it.
