I suppose he was informative in his own way, but unfortunately I have not the proper mind--that being a talking tree which bounds Realities--to appreciate his meaning. I suspect that he and Dworkin were great friends. Although nothing was proven, nor was anything invalidated. Ambivalence being tiresome and unproductive, I sought a further test, which was just as sadly inconclusive. All in all, I could see it as an exasperating waste of a day; but the lunch with Mandor, without having to fret over Emer, was too much of a rare wonder to spoil by obsessing on fruitless labor. Further, I must remember that nothing has been disproven as yet, and all of my assumptions still retain the possibility of merit. By approaching the matter more empiracally, I hope that we can achieve more satisfying results. I only hope that we can do this quickly enough that I may rush off to attend any of my plans which have grown to the point where they require my direction once more. And then there is the matter of Jasra. The longer I keep her under Mandor's spell the angrier she'll be when she's released. I must have her cooperation, or all may be lost.
