Session Seven
	     "And you can have your very own clone of Farad."

	Duncan is unable to find Benedict, and comes back to Farad and
Rasa and they all head merrily down the Black Road towards.... towards
whatever is at the end.  Never mind that Rasa wants to be queen of it.

	Alastair irritates Brand and then asks when "that Trump of Lilith"
will be completed -- Brand throws several half completed Trumps of her
into Alastair's face.  Alastair barely avoids some nasty paper cuts, and
goes to look at Rebma, which seems to fade in and out with the tide, just
like Tir na Nog'th does with the moon in the real Amber.

	Gabriel messes with the Black Road, which is not intimidated by
his glares.

	Lilith is in Shadow on the far side of Ygg with the Jewel.  She is
unable to Trump Corwin.  She figures the Black Road is her best bet to
finding the real Amber, so she goes to find the Black Road.

	Colin is watching over Fiona.  In a parallel universe, Ulysses
looks up and waves...  Colin decides to leave to look for Benedict or
Corwin or somebody... he ends up in Avalon.

	Farad declares that the Rasa/Duncan/Farad army is a day from the
source of the Black Road.  They meet the Chaos army, which appears to have
Alastair's twin leading it.  Farad gets locked into sorcerous battle with
the enemy, and Duncan notes that they are out numbered 2:1.

	Brand tells Sand all sorts of sweet nothings.  Sand offers to seek
out Lilith, and then goes to find Alastair to con him into helping her. 
They gather soldiers and horses.

	Lilith gets attacked near the Black Road, and about this time
notices that "anti- Pattern" is powering the Road.  Lilith notes the
disturbance Farad and Dara's battle is kicking up, so Lilith joins the
fray.  Duncan is in hand to hand combat with the Alastair twin.  Rasa
climbs to a hill and takes aim with her crossbow at the Alastair twin. 
She misses, which is bad, since Duncan is losing.  The second bolt gets
the twin in the arm (OK, so he's called Sebastian, and he's Alastair's
son, and he hates Amber).  Duncan calls a retreat, and Rasa runs from a
rain of arrows in her general direction.  Lilith joins the retreat.  It is
noted that the 100,000 strong army is now only the 20,000 strong army.

	Alastair and Sand notice the sorcerous battle in Shadow.  Sand
decides that she wanted to see Farad anyway, but first she wants to stop
for a pregnancy test (which is negative, to all our collective relief). 
Since they are in a high tech Shadow anyway, they also pick up weapons. 
They head towards the battle site.

	Gabriel (as does anyone else who tries) fails to Trump Benedict. 
Gabriel does Trump Alastair, and tells him the battle is going badly in
Amber.  Gabriel keeps fighting.

	Lilith investigates Farad's state of mind, since he was losing the
psychic battle something fierce.  "His personality is sequestered deep
inside him," which, of course, translates to "He won't notice if we take
his ring."  Duncan removes the ring and hides it.  Discussion ensues
between Duncan, Rasa and Lilith.  Rasa starts draining blood from Farad
and handing it off to her cousins.  Duncan decides to keep his supply of
Farad blood in paintballs, while Lilith chooses the ever popular squirt
gun.

	Sand and Alastair reach the site of the battle, and while they
take note that the Chaosites are following them, they themselves follow
the path of retreat of the Amberites.  Alastair Trumps Colin, who is snug
in Avalon, and doesn't know the whereabouts of Farad or Lilith.

	Gabriel steps onto the Black Road and is held motionless for a
time, until he does something and is teleported along the road.  Hm.

	Lilith considers her options.  Though she is the most
knowledgeable when it comes to Pattern, she is not as powerful as Farad
nor as sensitive as Alastair.  Then she thinks the Black Road would be fun
to try out.  As she is whizzing along, she and Gabriel see each other for
a brief moment.

	Sand Trumps Duncan, and she and Alastair go through to that
contingent.  At Sand's suggestion, they decide to go to a high tech Shadow
to clone Farad, which they do.

	Lilith is stuck in the middle of troop movements of the enemy
where she was dumped from the Black Road.  She fails to Trump Corwin, and
since she doesn't want to go to Bramber, she Trumps Colin.  Colin was
looking for Random, but Amber as a destination will do.  There, Lilith
attunes herself to the Jewel, as Colin is dismayed to find out.  He starts
to pout.  Lilith takes her attuned self to help with troop movement and
weather control.

	Gabriel meets with Sebastian and learns all about the evil
Alastair.  Gabriel ends up in Chaos, and has a time and a half what with
the uppity demon servants and all.

	Rasa and Alastair decide to take the clone of Farad to Amber to
test its reality (if it can walk the Amber Pattern, it should be able to
bleed effectively on Brand's).  Duncan goes to fight the Black Road
creatures, and Sand decides to stay behind with the body of Farad and the
many embryos they have left-over.  Rasa Trumps Colin, and uses her full
powers of persuasion on him to bring her and the Farad clone through (she
owes him a favor now).  Rasa is silly, Colin is patient but sullen.  Rasa
receives a Trump call, and blocks it for practice, which annoys and
distresses Alastair, who was calling.  Then, of course, Rasa Trumps
Alastair, since she wanted to bring him through to Amber, and he comes
through.  The clone burns up on the Pattern.

	Lilith takes a much needed nap.

	Colin comes back to find that Lilith is asleep.  He goes to see
Fiona, who is also asleep, and then Trumps Corwin.  Eventually, Colin
looks for a way to revive Fiona.  He finds the drug that would lower her
defenses and allow for mind-healing to take place.  She is allergic,
however, and has seizures.  Colin finds some antihistamines and tries
again.  He is closer to success, but has to head to a mind-healing-type
Shadow, to learn how to help her.

	Rasa and Alastair debate their next move outside of Lilith's door. 
Lilith eventually wakes up and comes out to discuss a plan (or the lack
thereof).  Duncan joins the party, and Rasa Trumps Sand to tell her the
clone died on the Pattern.

	Gabriel talks to Hamil, in Chaos, about how the Jewel is really
the Eye of the Serpent.  He also meets a blonde named Christina, who is
distant, and ends the session by chatting with Sebastian.
