Session Nineteen
"I am not a madman, I carry Werewindle."

I'm missing my first page of notes, but they were all lies anyway.
The last page is amazingly sketchy, as well. I blame it on Kayla. :)

Alastair is taking fingerprints in Colin's room. This is nigh
unto useless.

Rasa Trumps to the Main Hall and seeks Lilith, where she finds the
Regent talking to Gabriel about the rogue shapeshifter. It's about then
that Colin Trumps her, and they have a nice chat. Or is it Colin?
Probably not, since he stabs her through the contact.

Alastair goes to Tir-na Nog'th with Duncan, and finds nothing new
in those servant's quarters. They also don't find the Jewel, so they walk
the Pattern and leave. Alastair arrives in Rebma first and meditates,
waiting for Duncan. He senses someone behind him and turns to look. It's
Llewella, but it's not Llewella. She shoots an octopus ink arrow at him,
and turns the entire area black. Alastair turns his shield into a sword.
Duncan teleports into the ink. Confusion reigns, and Alastair gets
stabbed.

Farad is Trumped by Sean, who is wearing Werewindle. This bothers
Farad. They discuss this. Then Sean goes to see Gerard. Then he is
summoned by Gabriel, to examine the blade that Lilith was stabbed by.
Sean says that Colin owns the blade. Gabriel attempts to Trump Farad, and
Sean helps force the contact open. Lightning comes through the Trump and
knocks Sean unconscious. Sean wakes up indignant, and raring to press 300
different kinds of charges against Farad. Gabriel, Lilith and Rasa,
having dealt with Farad for some time now, find this to be a little over
the top. I mean, it's not like he killed off another Shadow again.

As it turns out, the real Colin is off in Shadow, being amnesiac.
He wakes up in a cabin, and finds food cooking. He goes outside and finds
an empty stable. He has his clothing and Trumps, but no Jewel.
Fortunately, he doesn't know what he's missing. Though he thinks the
red-haired chick in the Trump is pretty cute.

Alastair goes unconscious, and Duncan's arm gets broken, and
Duncan picks Alastair up and drags him through a Trump contact to Gabriel.
All the various unconscious and wounded people in Amber are taken upstairs
to the infirmary, where Rasa administers first aid. Sean is very
irritated. That's when Lilith is Trumped. Gabriel is in the contact with
her -- so between his sword, and her last spell-bounce, the lightning that
Farad sends through is redirected to Sean. Again. Rasa calmly splints
Duncan's arm, after giving Alastair a blood transfusion, and then takes
care of the crispy critter.

Colin starts walking, doing some lame attempt at Shadow-walking.
He finds water and coconuts, then some steak and a grill. Along the way,
he feels a goose walking over his grave (while back home, Lilith tries to
Trump him), but he doesn't do anything about it. But he fully intends on
kicking the goose's ass, if he finds it.

Rasa agrees to go find Colin with Duncan.

Farad Trumps Gerard for no reason, then departs his cell.

Sean tries to Trump Colin. It's close, but there's no prize for him.

Alastair takes a much needed rest.

Gabriel Trumps Farad on and off, though Farad answers not.

Colin keeps fighting off Trump contacts, though he doesn't know
what they are. He finds a non-functioning bicycle, and then a horse and a
forest, but can't find people.

Farad places sedative gas strategically for the next fool who
Trumps him. Gabriel Trumps him and is allowed to go through. Farad and
Gabriel chat, while the folks in the infirmary try to deal with the
sedative gas. It's not a problem for Lilith, who shapeshifts through it.
Sean goes to sleep. Alastair stays asleep.

Gabriel Trumps home with Farad and summons 30 guards to watch
Farad, while he Trumps Lilith. Gabriel stuffs the guards and Farad into
the cell, and tries to share information with her to the effect that the
shapeshifter is Duncan or Alastair.

Gabriel fakes us all out. There's now one in the infirmary and
one with Lilith in the Pattern Room. The game log officially Gives Up.
Hate that damn shapeshifter. He makes taking sensible notes impossible.

Rasa makes brief contact with Colin, and sees there are trees
around him. She heads for the trees, Duncan trailing. They find Colin,
and begin the task of explaining who he is, and why he has to come back
and walk the Pattern (so he can get his memory back).

Gabriel (or maybe not-Gabriel) sends Farad to kill the
shapeshifter in the basement. Yup. Farad runs into Farad and they fight.
Alastair is turning to stone because of something Farad did.

Sean finds Farad all tied up, and rescues him. Foolish mortal, he.

Alastair the statue is stolen from the infirmary.

Colin arrives in Amber and greets Lilith with a big kiss, thanks
to the misinformation Rasa gave him. She is amazed. He walks the
Pattern. He is not entirely pleased with Rasa -- nor is he displeased
either. They discuss how Rasa feels about Gabriel spending so much time
with Lilith, while Lilith talks to Gabriel at the other end of the room.

At the end of the session:

Sean and Farad are together somewhere in the castle.
Lilith, Gabriel, Colin, Duncan, and Rasa are in the Pattern Room.
Alastair is probably being fenced on a street corner somewhere.
